Confirmed Line-Ups: English Premier League, Manchester City vs Manchester United - News

Manchester United head coach Jose Mourinho will be aiming to spoil the Manchester City title party at the Etihad today as their fierce Premier League rivalry is renewed - here are the confirmed line-ups of both sides.

Victory for Guardiola would secure the title in front of their home fans in emphatic fashion with six games to spare, which would be a new English top-flight record.

It would also mark the third title in seven seasons for the Citizens who are seemingly re-writing the history books, with the Red Devils dominating the division in the modern Premier League era.

United will have to end a 27-game unbeaten home record today, which includes 14 straight victories in order to ruin the title party.

Jose Mourinho has recorded just one league victory in seven attempts against the City boss, drawing two and losing four, dating back to their days in LaLiga during the Classico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

The Portuguese tactician who's been criticised for United's rigid style of play can call upon defenders Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind as the trio returned to first-team training this week.

Romelu Lukaku is the key figure for Mourinho, having scored three goals in as many games across all competitions and the Belgium international will be looking to silence his critics by improving his record of five goals in 33 games away from home against the 'big-six.'

Here is how both teams will line up:

Manchester City: Ederson, Danilo, Kompany, Otamendi, Delph, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Bernardo, Silva, Sane, Sterling.

Manchester United: De Gea, Young, Bailly, Smalling, Valencia, Lingard, Matic, Pogba, Herrera, Sanchez, Lukaku.
