Bloemfontein Celtic and AmaZulu will meet in a battle for a top eight position at the Dr Molemela Stadium.

Based on form, many will expect Usuthu to walk away victorious following their last win over Ajax Cape Town on Tuesday.

They got out of jail in that encounter where they won courtesy of an own-goal by Siyanda Zwane in the last few minutes.

It will be of utter importance to ensure they collect maximum points once again to move closer to cementing a top eight position.

A win will see them go ahead of Baroka FC in eight place, who welcome Mamelodi Sundowns this afternoon.

The absence of defender Lorenzo Gordinho, who is out serving suspension, may leave a gap at the back. But they have equal replacements in reserves such as Robert Sankara.

Usuthu will be without the expertise in attack of Siyethemba Mnguni who is also serving a one match suspension following his booking against the Urban Warriors.

Celtic are sitting in an unpleasant 10th, a steady decline from the top six position they once held at the start of the season.

Following their midweek loss to Orlando Pirates, the side of Veselin Jelusic need a serious pick-me-up on Sunday to ease the tension amongst the Siwelele faithful across the country.

The earlier fixture played in January this year ended goalless, as neither side can afford a similar result this time around.
