Cape Town City have re-signed utility player Thato Mokeke from Absa Premiership strugglers Chippa United.
The Citizens have effectively completed their second signing of the January transfer window with the return of Mokeke, having also added striker Kermit Erasmus to their roster.
The 28-year-old Mokeke spent a few months in limbo after being released by SuperSport United, from whom he was loaned to City in the 2016/17 season, before signing with Chippa in October last year.
He quickly re-established himself as a top performer under Eric Tinkler, who was shown the door just a few weeks later, and has since earned a move back to the Mother City.

The former Ajax Cape Town midfielder has penned a two-year deal with City.
Mokeke made just eight appearances at the Port Elizabeth-based outfit.
