Black Leopards will be eyeing a spot in the Nedbank Cup Last 16  when they host Bidvest Wits at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Kickoff is at 19h30.

Dispatching Orlando Pirates in the last 32 has given Leopards hope of emulating their 2011 run in the competition when they reached the final.

Furthermore, Leopards will see the Absa Premiership leaders’ inconsistent run of form as an opportunity to get into the quarter-finals.

Wits have the advantage of already beating their counterparts in the league this season and will use it as a stepping stone to secure a last eight berth.

The Clever Boys thrashed ABC Motsepe League outfit Boyne Tigers FC 4-0 in the previous round.

Dylan Kerr’s side have an absentees to deal, with Khuliso Mudau and Pentjie Zulu missing through suspension.
