At the age of 20, Kylian Mbappe has already reached the scoring milestone of Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario in the UEFA Champions League. Is the Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid rampaging towards Cristiano Ronaldo’s record?

The Champions League’s top scorer is currently Ronaldo, who has plundered 121 goals in 158 games in the competition to date for Manchester United, Real Madrid and now Juventus.

The only other player in history to have broken the century mark in Europe’s elite club competition is FC Barcelona captain Lionel Messi, who has 106 in 129 appearances.

But Mbappe, based on the comparison of what the five-time Ballon d’Or winners achieved at his age – is threatening to challenge the status quo.

At 20 Messi, scored eight goals in 21 games, while Ronaldo netted only once in 24 outings.

Not only has Mbappe outscored both these global superstars at their age, but with 14 goals in 24 appearances – he has netted the same amount as Ronaldo Nazario did over his entire Champions League career.
