Cristiano Ronaldo has seemingly invigorated himself upon his switch to Juventus with his current influence in his debut season far exceeding his final campaign with Real Madrid.

In the wake of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s criticism of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, the statistics of his start to life with the Bianconeri somewhat debunk the opinion of the Swede.

With a move to Juventus cited as a sporting challenge, the 34-year-old is currently exceeding all expectations, with no Juventus player ever enjoying a better start to their career in the history of the iconic club.

In his final season with Real Madrid, he plundered 44 goals and registered eight assists, which is a total of 52 goals contributions – directly calculating to 35% of Los Blancos 148 goals scored in their UEFA Champions League-winning season.

And as the half-way mark to the season has already passed, he’s gone up another gear with the Italian champions, with 21 goals and 11 assists in 31 games across all competitions – which ranks as a staggering 58% of Juve’s overall goal tally in the 2018/19 campaign.

Ironically, he’s only scored one goal in the Champions League this season in five games, the competition he was acquired to lead Massimo Allegri’s side to glory.

However, with his knock-out stages in his wake, many wouldn’t bet against the Los Blancos all-time record scorer from adding to the tally – having won the Golden Boot for the competition for six consecutive seasons.

Overall, throughout his illustrious career that seen him represent Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real and now Juve, Ronaldo has scored 677 goals and registered 216 assists in 945 games – lifting 27 major titles.
