The likes of Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Mali all advanced to the final round of the U-23 U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Zimbabwe 2- 0 Mozambique

Zimbabwe are through to the last round of the CAF 2019 U-23 Africa Cup Of Nations Qualifiers after beating Mozambique 2-0 in the second-leg clash of the second round on Tuesday afternoon.

The first leg in the second round of the qualifiers had ended goalless last week Friday and Zimbabwe managed to pull through 2-0 on aggregate thanks to late goals by Obriel Chirinda and Delic Murimba.

Kenya 0-0 Sudan

Sudan managed to scrape ito the last round of qualifying, despite playing to a goalless draw with Kenya in the second-leg of on Tuesday afternoon.

Sudan beat Emerging Stars 2-0 in the first-leg almost a week ago in Khartoum and managed to protect their two-goal lead in Nairobi to setup a meeting with Nigeria in the final round of the qualifiers.

Gabon 0-0 Ghana

Ghana are through to the last round of qualifiers following a goalless stalemate with Gabon in the second-leg encounter in Libreville.

The Black Meteors virtually booked their spot in the last round from the first-leg after thrashing Gabon 4-0 on Saturday. They will now play Algeria in the final round for a place in the U-23 Afcon tournament.

Algeria 3-1 Equatorial Guinea

Algeria are through to the final round of qualifying for the after sinking Equatorial Guinea 3-1 in the second leg in Algiers on Tuesday evening.

Following a goalless draw in the first-leg, goals by Adem Zorgane, Billel Benhamouda and Aimen Mahious sent the home into the final round.

Congo-Brazzaville 2-1 Burundi

Congo Brazzaville earned a spot in the final round of qualifiers after beating Burundi 2-1 in the second leg on Tuesday evening.

The sides had played to a goalless draw in the first leg, but Congo managed to use home ground advantage to edge Burundi 2-1 in the second-leg to claim a 2-1 aggregate win.

Congo Brazzaville will play Zambia in the final round for a place in the U-23 Afcon finals.

Mali 4-0 Ethiopia

Mali are through to the final round qualifiers after thumping Ethiopia 4-0 in their second-leg encounter in Bomako.

Mali managed to score an away goal in the first-leg almost a week ago in a tie that ended 1-1, but they did not leave anything to chance in the second as they netted four goals to go through to the final round with a 5-1 aggregate win.

Nigeria 4-0 Libya

Nigeria progressed to the next round of qualifiers after defeating Libya in the second leg on Monday evening.

The Libyans would have fancied their chances heading into the second leg after winning the first leg 2-0 over the weekend.

However, the Dream Team put on a rampant display as Victor bagged a hat-trick, while Okereke rounded off the scoring to make 4-0 on the night and 4-2 on aggregate.
