MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A 22-year-old man who robbed a southwestern Oregon marijuana dealer has been sentenced to more than six years in prison.

The Mail Tribune reports that Erick Molinero, of Fort Worth, Texas, received the sentence Friday after pleading no contest to second-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and other charges.

Authorities say that Molinero and another man on Feb. 13 robbed the Central Point marijuana dealer of multiple pounds of marijuana.

Twenty-one-year-old Ashton Shamar of Fort Worth was also arrested and is charged with robbery, burglary, unlawful use of a weapon and other charges.

His trial is set for June.

Court records show no charges were made against the marijuana dealer.
