After a hand to the head from Sam Whitelock, England’s Owen Farrell lay on the ground, holding his head.
It was a move that resulted in an All Blacks penalty being reversed and a cheap one similar to what happens in England’s Premier League.
After Whitelock’s hand made contact with Farrell’s head to get him out of the ruck, TJ Perenara asked Farrell if he was playing in the Premier League, rather than the Rugby World Cup semifinal.
The comment was picked up on the referee’s microphone and heard by Kiwi commentators.

The silly ruck clean-out also led to a penalty, which could have resulted in the All Blacks launching a lineout drive, being reversed.
Fans were quick to point out the poor reaction from Farrell online.
“Don’t let the England #RWC2019 semifinal win distract you from the fact that Owen Farrell went all soccer mode when he got PUSHED by Sam Whitelock. Man was acting like he got a shoulder to the head,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“I am a huge admirer of Owen Farrell, but the way he reacted after Sam Whitelock pushed him on the forehead was embarrassing!” another tweeted.
The All Blacks failed to secure a spot in the final, losing to England 19-7 at Yokohama in Japan on Saturday night.
It was a sad note to end on for outgoing coach Steve Hansen and captain Kieran Read.
The second semifinal clash between Wales and South Africa was scheduled for Sunday night.
