Intelligence Transfer Centre (ITC) will be hosting the 10th Annual Women in Politics Conference on the 30th & 31st October 2018, Gold Reef City Theme Park, Johannesburg.
This two-day conference will be running under the overall banner of “the awakening of the African renaissance woman”. It will address various issues including; discovering how to overcome the patriarchal challenges that have plagued the ascent and participation of women in public office, engaging in the difficult conversation around HIV/AIDS in Africa and how it affects women and children, creating dialogue on how women in politics can play an active role in being a voice for vulnerable members of society to protect their rights, as well as women in politics being a strong voice against gender-based violence just to mention a few.
